Prof.
Hoffman long back explained this classic piece of magic
in his book Modern Magic.
Since these cages are folding and collapsed position
take very small space, several can be produced from
any standard production prop. After production these
cages are rigid, look genuine and stand on its base
like normal cages. Alternately the cages can be hanged
on display stands. If wished the cages can hold foam
imitation birds. |

This is one of the best close-up miracle ever
developed. Perform it right under the noses of
the spectators and watch their reaction.
You show two playing cards. Take out a match stick
or borrow one. Now you place the picture of the
Lady(supplied) on one of the cards, you give your
magical spell(?). Slowly and visibly the Lady
floats above the card about half of an inch. This
is no visible support, yet it rises up.
To further prove that there is no support of any
kind, you pass the other playing card under it!
Again at your command the Lady comes down and
rests on the card.

A large card
(8 .5” X 6” approx.) is shown to have
ONE spot in front and FOUR on the on the back.
Turning it over … it is seen now that there
are THREE spots in the front and SIX on the reverse.
Certainly an Eye-Popper effect but there is more
to come!
The performer offers to disclose the secret! He
shows the back and front of the card … that
there are really TWO spots one side and FIVE spots
on the back. They are arranged such that just
by covering either a spot or a blank space …
it’s possible to show in succession ONE
– FOUR – THRE or SIX spots!
While the audience laughs at the wiles of the
magician … they’re dumbfounded as
turning the card once again … with fingers
at the extreme edges of the card with entire face
of the card visible … the following sequence
takes place …
On one side are seen FOUR spots … on the
other THREE spots … to be followed, on turning
… SIX spots … ONE spot … next
believe your eyes or not …EIGHT spots!
No flaps are used, nicely made; smooth and easy
handling Pip Card is a Comedy-Miracle!

This
effect creates much mirth and merriment! You use it
in any effect where you have a kid as your assistant.
You show a colorful fan, open and close it then give
it to the kid to open it. When he does, it breaks apart
into several sections!!! You show him once again, and
that works. But as soon as he tries … it breaks
apart again. This is repeated as long as needed.
Made
in metal and cloth this is an effect you won’t
want to miss.

This is a visual magic at its best! A picture of legendary
actor Charlie Chaplin in black ‘n white is displayed
inside a pasteboard holder. However, with a little magical
mumbo-jumbo, the picture is slowly pulled out of the
holder. Surprisingly, as it’s comes out, it visibly
changes to a colored picture.
You
receive the artistic picture in its holder ready to
work.

This
is colorful magic and should be a hit in any act! You
show a feather flower dart sans any flower. Just wave
the dart and a beautiful red flower appears at the top
of dart. Wait, that’s not all! You momentarily
cover the flower with your shown-empty palm and the
flower changes its color – from Red to bright
Yellow!
A
self-working magic needs only handling practice.
